A symbolic digging the first shovelful took place at the Mlekpol plant in Grajewo, and thus we are starting work on the existing sewage treatment plant. The anaerobic line that our company will build will ensure the fermentation of sewage sludge and thus the production of biogas. The biogas will burn in the gas engine and generate electricity and heat in combination. 100% of the heat will be used to dry the sewage sludge left after fermentation. Drying will reduce the volume of waste that will have to be farmed. In this way, we will recover maximum energy from dairy wastewater that would otherwise be irretrievably lost. We will reduce the plant's costs by allowing it to use the electricity produced from biogas.
